On exhibit in the visitor center's gallery were organza appliques by textile artist Christine Williams.

From the exhibition notes:

Christine Williams, Sausalito artist, designs and creates large fabric wall hangings made from antique Obi and Kimono fragments appliqued to white and black silk organza. These large pieces are textile art on a grand scale, some pieces 10' by 5 '. Christine is interested in visual metaphors, geometry, color, volume, the sensual textural quality of textiles, and flower prints blown up to a huge scale, or three-dimensional shapes which appear to tumble off the fabric and float in space. The antique fabrics come alive when appliqued onto the see-through organza.
