From the pier, we got our best-ever view of pelicans feeding.
Basically, it's a five-step process:
- Soar around looking for something tasty
- Dive-bomb the sucker
- Instantly get swarmed by a horde of seagulls
- Duck off to one side out of their way, and
- Gulp.
It'd make a great video, but the action is too fast and furious for stills.
